Pith & Peel Home is a small publication about forever-chemical-free shopping, with the receipts. We read the public evidence on PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) in everyday products and write plain-English guides that show who tested what, how, when and what is still unknown.
We started with cookware and the kitchen, and with a registry guide for people choosing a kitchen they’ll use for years. Beauty is on the list, but we have not published anything on it yet.
Who runs this site
Pith & Peel Home is a trade name of Orange Health and Wellness LLC, which operates this website. Pages are published by the Pith & Peel Home editorial team. We do not publish individual author bios or credentials, and we do not present anyone as a medical or scientific expert.
How we work
- Every factual claim cites a primary or reputable source, and every page shows a “Last verified” date.
- We don’t say a product is “non-toxic” or “PFAS-free” in our own voice.
- We don’t run our own lab tests.
- We don’t publish fake reviews, testimonials or personas.
